Why is Burnout important?
Burnout is more than feeling blue. It is a chronic state of being out of sync at work and it can be a significant problem in your life.
Burnout is lost energy. The burned out individual feels overwhelmed, stressed, and exhausted. The demands of the job feel far greater than one is able to give.
Burnout is lost enthusiasm. Passion for the job has faded, the job "rubs you the wrong way," and it feels like a
burden or a chore. Rather than doing your best, you may put in the bare minimum.
Burnout is lost confidence. Without energy and active involvement in one's work, it is hard to keep motivated. The
less effective a person feels, the more he will have nagging doubts about self-worth and personal accomplishment.
Burnout has many consequences for the individual including physical illness, increased feelings of hopelessness,
irritability, impatience, and poor interpersonal relationships with family/co-workers/patients.
In severe cases, burnout can negatively impact executive functioning, attention and memory.
Do You Feel Like You’re Approaching Burnout?
You’re not alone.
I have been there myself and I know that your deserving of care and your stress is valid and I am here to help!
Until now, burnout has been called a stress syndrome. However, the World Health Organization (WHO) recently updated its definition.
It now refers to burnout as “syndrome conceptualized as resulting from chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed,”
The three symptoms included in the list are:
1- Feelings of energy depletion or exhaustion
2- Increased mental distance from one’s job or feelings negative towards one’s career
3- Reduced professional productivity
One of the largest problems when it comes to burnout is that many people feel ashamed for needing help, often because their work environments don’t support slowing down.
Frequently, people equate it to having a cold. They believe that one day of rest should make everything better.
People with symptoms of burnout may fear that taking time away from work or investing in self-care makes them “weak,” and that burnout is best overcome by working harder.
Neither of these is true.
Left untreated, burnout can cause folks to become depressed, anxious, and distracted, which can impact not only their work relationships, but their personal interactions, too.
When stress reaches an all-time high, it’s harder to regulate emotions like sadness, anger, and guilt, which may result in panic attacks, anger outbursts, and substance use.
However, changing the definition of burnout can help dismantle the misbelief that it’s “nothing serious.” It can help remove the incorrect assumption that those who have it don’t need occupational support.
Hypnosis for Burnout syndrome
Hypnosis works by changing you from the inside on a subconscious level. It gives you deep, rejuvenating relaxation on a subconscious level, allowing your body to feel calmer almost immediately.
Also, Hypnosis stabilizes the general feeling state, so that the general energy level is increased, and the depression can subside.
No matter how intense your symptoms are, hypnosis can help you relatively quickly and effectively. The aim is again for you to be able to enjoy life and work.
Stress reducing techniques and Self hypnosis cause a lasting reduction in the level of anxiety and pose a balancing effect on the mind and body.
You will begin to sleep better and let go of the anxiety that is eating you up inside. You can learn to structure your days more effectively and develop better coping skills.
As you practice self hypnosis for burnout regularly, you will even feel your confidence and motivation returning..
Australian Frontline Healthcare Workers Study
“Participants in the COVID-19 Frontline Health Workers Study were asked whether they believed they had experienced any mental health conditions since the pandemic began and so far, 62% said they have experienced anxiety, 58% have experienced burnout, 27% have experienced depression, and 5% say they’ve experienced PTSD,” said Professor Smallwood, who is a respiratory physician at Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Burnout and psychological distress amongst Australian healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
HCWs showed significant symptoms of moderate-severe level depression (21%), anxiety (20%) and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD; 29%), associated with burnout, prior psychiatric history, profession and resilience.
Urgent action needed to improve the mental health and save the lives of Australian doctors and medical students.
A world-first survey of thousands of Australian doctors and medical students has revealed they are burnt-out, more likely to experience psychological distress and suicidal thoughts than the general community and are drinking too much alcohol.
One in five medical students and one in 10 doctors had suicidal thoughts in the past year.....
Physician burnout: a global crisis
The 2018 Survey of America's Physicians Practice Patterns and Perspectives reported that 78% of physicians had burnout, an increase of 4% since 2016. Furthermore, 80% of doctors in a British Medical Association 2019 survey were at high or very high risk of burnout, with junior doctors most at risk, followed by general practitioner partners.
Burnout Hypnotic Loop
We all find ourselves stuck in loops from time to time.
Loops can be good or bad, loops can push us forwards or drag us backwards.
I was stuck in the burnout loop for a while, and I will tell you how it felt like going to work in these days,
I was so tired that I could not move a muscle, I had to drag myself out of bed to get to work in the morning, my 8-hour shift felt like 80.
I started losing interest in work, started to feel incompetence, feeling that I just cannot be effective, and this led to a lack of accomplishment and productivity.
Feeling exhausted, cynical, and useless, caused the depression to set in, I started to have troubles concentrating and sleeping. However, my main problems were the headaches and the backpains, I just could not go to work and my sick days were piling up.
All these feelings of depression, headaches and backpains were experienced by my mind and my body and a loop of depression was created in my unconscious mind giving me this constant belief that I do not like my job anymore.
We face these loops in almost every aspect of our lives, whether it's approaching situations where we lose confidence, situations that make us happy, or scenarios like an addiction where we experience an ongoing craving.
We can change our lives and the lives of others by being aware of these loops.
Loops in our mind can be changed, can be broken, and new loops can be created if we want to.
We can break loops of stress, anxiety, depression, sadness, low self-esteem, loops of smoking or even cravings for food. And we can build new loops of change, loops of confidence, happiness, and loops of high self-esteem.
Hypnosis is an amplifier of these loops, it makes our suggestions and imagination more vivid, our physiological responses clearer, our experiences more real.
This loop creation can be done with a therapist or even through self-hypnosis, suggestion and imagination that are created while you are hypnotised are so vivid and clear that they become reality to your mind.

What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis puts you back in control of your life, your body, your relationships and your surroundings. You realize what an empowered part you play in how your life unfolds.
All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. You are in control of your hypnotic state in each moment. You can choose to explore your subconscious and the images, sensations, and memories there or you can choose to open your eyes and return to the room at any time......
Can anyone be hypnotised?
Pretty much – some more easily than others. Like anything else in life, the more people practice self-hypnosis, the more easily they can slip into that wonderful relaxed state. The depth that people reach in hypnosis varies between individuals. It is not necessary to achieve a very deep level of hypnosis to bring about change to habits or conditions that are having a negative impact either mentally or physically.
